This standard replaced FZ/T 80002-2008 Marking Packaging Transportation and Storage for Garments. Compared with FZ/T 80002-2008, the major changes of this Standard are as follows: --- Modify the Normative References (see Clause 2 of this Edition; Clause 2 of 2008 Edition); --- Supplement the requirements for package marking (see 3.2.3 of this Edition); --- Modify the requirements for package materials (see 4.1.1, 4.2.1 of this Edition; 4.1.1, 4.2.1 of 2008 Edition); --- Modify the requirements for transportation and storage (see Clauses 5 and 6 of this Edition; Clauses 5 and 6 of 2008 Edition). This Standard was proposed by China National Textile and Apparel Council. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on Garments of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 219). Drafting organizations of this Standard: Shanghai Garment Research Institute; Zhejiang RYB Fashion Co., Ltd.; HYX (Group) Co., Ltd.; and Foshan Nanhai No.1 Industrial Co., Ltd. Chief drafting staffs of this Standard: Shi Qin, Zhou Shuangxi, Ye Xiandong, Qiu Hongsheng, Chen Xiaoying, Yang Xiuyue, and Wang Hongming. The historical editions replaced by this Standard are as follows: --- FZ/T 80002-1991, FZ/T 80002-2002, and FZ/T 80002-2008. Marking, Packaging, Transportation and Storage for Garments 1 Scope This Standard specifies the general requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of garments. This Standard is applicable to various mass-produced garments. This Standard is inapplicable to mass-produced garments where the contracting parties have otherwise agreed on the technical requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage. 2 Normative References The following documents are essential to the application of this Document. For the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this Document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including all the amendments) is applicable to this Document.
