This standard specifies the classification and code, the information required for ordering, size, shape, weight and tolerance, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, quality certificate of hot-rolled steel checker plate and strip. This standard applies to diamond-shaped, lentil-shaped, round-bean-shaped and combined-shaped hot-rolled steel checker plate and strip (hereinafter referred to as steel plates and steel strips).2 Normative references
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. For the dated references, the subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to this standard; however, parties who reach an agreement based on this standard are encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document applies. 3.1 Classified by edge status.4 Ordering information
When ordering, the user shall provide the following information.5 Size, shape, weight and tolerance
5.1 The sizes of steel plates and strips are as specified in Table 1. 5.2 The size, shape and distribution of steel plate and steel strip’s pattern are reference values, as shown in Figure 1 ~ Figure 4.The sizes in the Figure are used for control during processing and rolling by the manufacturer, they shall not be used as the basis for the inspection of finished steel plates and strips. shall comply with the requirements of Table 2.The tolerance of the intermediate size is as specified by the tolerance of the adjacent larger size, the pattern height of the intermediate size is as specified by the tolerance of the adjacent smaller size. 5.5 Other sizes and shapes of steel plates and steel strips shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 709. 5.6 Steel plates and strips are delivered at actual weight. According to the requirements of the purchaser, the steel plate may be delivered at theoretical weight according to Appendix A of this standard.6 Technical requirements
6.1 Designation and chemical composition 6.2 Delivery status 6.2.1 Steel plates and strips are delivered in hot-rolled status. 6.2.2 Steel plates and steel strips are usually supplied in a non-edge-cut status. As required by the purchaser and indicated in the contract, it may also supply it in an edge-cut status. 6.3 Mechanical properties As required by the purchaser and indicated in the contract, it may perform Thickness Unevenness Measured length tensile and bending tests. The performance indicators shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 700, GB 712, GB/T 4171 or as agreed by both parties. 6.4 Surface quality7 Test methods
7.1 The appearance of steel plates and strips are visually-checked. The size and shape are measured by a suitable tool. 7.3 The inspection items, sampling quantities, sampling methods and test methods for each batch of steel shall comply with the requirements of Table 4.8 Inspection rules
8.1 Inspection and acceptance of steel plates and strips shall be carried out by the technical supervision department of the supplier. 8.3 The numerical rounding-off of the inspection data shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of YB/T 081. 8.4 Re-inspection The re-inspection of steel plates and strips shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 247.9 Packaging, marking, quality certificate
