Criminal suspect simulation rules
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements and procedures for making a simulated image of a criminal suspect.
This standard is applicable to the production of criminal suspects, as well as to the production of witnesses and victims.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
2.1
An image of the appearance of a criminal suspect based on memory or other information.
2.2
Retrieving a portrait similar to a criminal suspect from the portrait database, modifying the analogy and recreating the analog image of the suspect's appearance

3 requirements

4 procedures
4.1 Case acceptance
4.1.1 Register the inspection unit, the name of the person to be inspected and the contact number.
4.1.2 Inquire about the case and check the transcript of the inquiry.
4.2 Asking eyewitnesses
4.2.1 Establish a friendly relationship with witnesses. The attitude should be sincere and the tone should be calm.
4.2.2 Use an open-ended questioning method to allow witnesses to describe what they see.
4.2.3 Pay attention to what the witnesses first or repeatedly mentioned.
4.2.4 Guide witnesses to consider the natural environment and personal feelings at the time of the incident.
