1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for rail transportation, road transportation, sea transportation and vertical transfer of launch vehicles. This document is applicable to the transportation process of launch vehicles, and partial transportation can be implemented as a reference.

4 General requirements

The general requirements for launch vehicle transportation are as follows. a) The factory and transportation status of the launch vehicle should meet the overall factory packaging and transportation technical conditions of the system, and the upper stage should be transported using airtight container; b) During transportation, liquid rockets shall formulate pressure inspection requirements as needed, and the gauge pressure shall be maintained at 0.03MPa~0.05MPa; c) The launch vehicle should wear an arrow jacket during transportation; d) The launch vehicle should be prevented from causing interference when loading, and should be reliably locked before transportation, and rolling, slipping, and impacting are not allowed; e) During transportation, the rocket body should be reliably grounded, and fire protection and lightning protection measures should be taken into consideration for transportation equipment; f) When transporting rocket bodies equipped with pyrotechnics, short-circuit protection and anti-static measures should be installed; g) Resonance should be prevented during transportation; h) During transportation, railway and highway transportation vehicles should start smoothly and should not roll away or brake suddenly; i) The transportation equipment should have a product inspection certificate or other available written certification; j) During the transportation process, there should be a dedicated person responsible for escorting and checking the transportation situation.
