1 Scope

This standard specifies the marine electric lights (hereinafter referred to as lights) requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging and storage. This standard applies to AC (50Hz or 60Hz) or less at 250V DC power supply voltage and types of ships sailing with the lights (for Including sidelights, masthead light, stern lights, towing lights, round lights) design, production and acceptance.
