This document replaces YY/T 1011-2014 "Nominal Diameter and Designation of Dental Rotary Instruments", compared with YY/T 1011-2014 The technical differences are as follows. --- Added the description of the scope of application (see Chapter 1); --- Added normative references (see Chapter 2); --- Added general references to GB/T 9937 terms (see Chapter 3); --- Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3). This document uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 2157.2016 "Nominal diameter and designation of dental rotary instruments". this document The technical differences from ISO 2157.2016 and the reasons are as follows. Regarding the normative reference documents, this document has made adjustments with technical differences to adapt to the technical conditions of our country. This document is one of several basic standards for dental rotary instruments and describes a range of nominal diameters for the working parts of dental rotary instruments. The designations corresponding to these diameters are also listed. 1 Scope

This document specifies the nominal diameters of the working parts of dental rotary instruments and the corresponding designations.
