Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces YS/T 80-1994 "Carbide Stretch Billet".
The main changes in this standard compared with YS/T 80-1994 are as follows.
--- Model category is reduced from 13 to 10;
--- modified the model that rules;
--- revised the size of the allowable deviation;
--- increase the tolerance of all stretch mold blank angle;
--- Increases the allowable deviation of the reference dimensions of the stretch billet.
This standard is proposed by the National Committee for Standardization of Nonferrous Metals (SAC/TC243).

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality of metal carbide blanks for metal stretching
Certificate and contract (or order) content.
This standard applies to ferrous and non-ferrous metal wire rods, bar, pipe, strip and multi-section tensile hard alloy die blank.
