Nickel-based alloy powder chemical analysis
Part 5. Determination of the amount of manganese
Sodium (potassium) oxidation spectrophotometry
1 Scope
YS/T 539 This part specifies the method for determination of nickel-base alloy powder of manganese content.
This section applies to the determination of nickel base alloy powder manganese content, measurement range. 0.01% to 2%.
2 Method summary
Sample by mixed acid dissolved in sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid medium. With sodium (potassium) manganese oxide seven price wavelength spectrophotometer
Measuring the absorbance at 530nm.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1 hydrochloride (ρ1.19g/mL).
Nitrate 3.2 (ρ1.42g/mL).
3.3 Hydrofluoric acid (ρ1.15g/mL).
3.4 sulfate (1 + 1).
3.5 sodium nitrite solution (10g/L).
3.6 phosphoric acid - perchloric acid mixture. three phosphate (ρ1.69g/mL) and a perchloric acid (ρ1.67g/mL) mixed.
3.7 sodium (potassium) solution (50g/L). Weigh 5g sodium (potassium) in 250mL beaker, add 60mL water, 20mL Glass
Acid (3.2) was warmed to dissolve, cooled, diluted with water to 100mL.
3.8 manganese standard solution A. Weigh 0.5000g manganese (Mn≥99.9%) [manganese processing methods. in electrolytic manganese sulphate
(19 + 1) in the cleaning, the surface to be removed after the oxidation of manganese washed immediately with distilled water repeatedly washed with ethanol and then washed 4 to 5 times, remove and let
After drying in a desiccator standby] placed in 250mL beaker, add 20mL of nitric acid (1 + 3), dissolved by heating, to make drive boiling nitrogen oxides,
Removed, cooled to room temperature. Moved into 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 500μg manganese.
3.9 manganese standard solution B. Pipette 20.00mL manganese standard solution A (3.8) into 100mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark with water, mix
uniform. This solution 1mL containing 100μg manganese.
3.10 without reducing water species. deionized water (or distilled water) heated to boiling, with 10mL per liter of sulfuric acid (1 + 3) and acidified, add a few drops of high
Sodium (potassium) solution (3.7) and continue heating to boil a few minutes, after cooling spare.
