Nickel-based alloy powder chemical analysis
Part 1. Determination of the amount of boron
Acid-base titration
1 Scope
YS/T 539 This part specifies the method for determination of nickel-base alloy powder of boron content.
This section applies to contain tungsten, molybdenum, nickel-based alloy powder boron content measurement, measurement range. 1% to 6%.
2 Method summary
Sample molten sodium peroxide, hydrochloric acid, sodium sulfite reduction of chromium, alkali separation of iron, chromium, nickel and other elements. The solution was adjusted to neutral with
Barium carbonate (Ca) separating aluminum. Mannitol and boric acid complex. Quantitative release of H +, titrated with standard sodium hydroxide solution.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1 sodium peroxide.
3.2 sodium sulfite.
3.3 sodium hydroxide.
3.4 barium carbonate (calcium).
3.5 mannitol.
3.6 hydrochloride (ρ1.19g/mL).
3.7 hydrochloric acid (1 + 20).
3.8 standard titration solution of sodium hydroxide [Ba (NaOH) ≈0.05mol/L].
3.8.1 preparation. Weigh 2g of sodium hydroxide in 1000mL beaker, add 10mL barium chloride solution (100g/L), boiled for 1min ~
2min, diluted with water to 1000mL, and mix, put it aside, move the supernatant to a plastic bottle for storage.
3.8.2 Calibration. Weigh 0.3000g 3 copies in advance by 105 ℃ ~ 110 ℃ baking 1h and placed in the dryer to cool to room temperature acid
Potassium benchmark reagents, were placed in three 250mL conical flask, add water to dissolve 50mL, plus (2-3) drops of phenolphthalein indicator (3.11), hydrogen
Sodium hydroxide standard titration solution (3.8) titration until the solution was just as stable reddish end. 3 parts of sodium hydroxide standard titration solution consumed
Volume difference value of the solution should not exceed 0.05mL, averaged.
According to formula (1) calculate the standard volumetric sodium hydroxide solution (3.8) of the actual concentration.
Ba 0 =
Vp 0 × 204.2
(1)
Where.
Ba 0 --- the actual concentration of standard solution of sodium hydroxide, in units of moles per liter (mol/L);
V0 --- titrate the average volume of sodium hydroxide standard titration solution consumed in milliliters (mL);
204.2 --- molar mass of potassium hydrogen phthalate, in units of grams per mole (g/mol).
3.9 hydrochloric acid standard titration solution [Ba (HCl) ≈0.05mol/L].
3.9.1 preparation. Pipette 4.2mL hydrochloric acid (3.6) in 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix.
3.9.2 Calibration. Pipette 3 parts 25.00mL standard volumetric hydrochloric acid solution (3.9) were placed in three 250mL conical flask, add 50mL
