This standard specifies the layered structure of SDH equipment, the atomic function of each layer, the interface signal of atomic function, the processing process, alarm detection and performance monitoring. It also regulates the input jitter tolerance, output jitter and jitter gain of SDH equipment. . This standard is applicable to transmission equipment using SDH technology system in China's public telecommunication network.
