Summary
This standard specifies the synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) network node interface (NNI) technical requirements, including: STM-N signal bit rate, STM-N signal frame structure, user signal unit to the STM-N frame mapping and multiplexing in the format, and the synchronous digital network, the NNI STM-N frame, various overhead functions definition and implementation. This standard applies to public telecommunications network as the basic means of fiber-optic transmission network, including inter-provincial trunk, trunk and trunk network in the province. Access network, dedicated telecommunications networks, and wireless transmission network can also refer to the use.
