Introduction
This procedure is written in accordance with JJF1002-2010 "Rules for Writing National Metrology Verification Procedures".
JJF1001-2011 "General Measurement Terms and Definitions", JJF1059.1-2012 "Measurement Uncertainty Evaluation and
Expressions" together constitute the basic series of specifications that support the formulation of this regulation.
This regulation is released for the first time.
Medical oral and maxillofacial cone beam computed tomography
Equipment (CBCT) X-ray radiation source calibration procedures
1 Scope
This procedure applies to the X-ray radiation sources of medical oral and maxillofacial cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) devices.
Initial calibration, subsequent calibration and in-use inspection.
This procedure does not apply to medical oral and maxillofacial cone beam tomography devices that only have automatic exposure conditions.
(CBCT) Calibration of X-ray radiation sources.
2 cited documents
This procedure cites the following documents.

The latest version (including all modified units) shall apply to this regulation.
3 Terminology and units of measurement
3.1 Terminology
3.1.1 dose area product doseareaproduct
The area of the useful beam measured at the same distance from the focus times the kerma of the air within the cross-section of the useful beam
product. The symbol of the quantity corresponding to the dose area product is PKA.
3.1.2 spatialresolution
When the difference in attenuation between the object and the background is large enough compared to the noise, the CT scanning device performs imaging
The ability to distinguish between different objects.
3.1.3 Uniformity uniformity
Consistency of pixel values of homogeneous material images in the entire scanning field.
