Guidelines for Modeling of Synchronous Generator Excitation System
1 Scope
This document describes the establishment of the mathematical model of the synchronous generator excitation system (hereinafter referred to as the "model") for the stability analysis and calculation of the power system
method.
This document applies to steam turbine generators, gas turbine generators, hydraulic turbine generators, pumped storage power generation/motors, nuclear power plants and solar thermal engines
Group excitation system modeling. Synchronously adjust the camera for reference use.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Primarymodel
Model structure and parameters derived from the information provided by the manufacturer.
3.2
Measuredmodel
Refer to the original model for model identification and parameter measurement to obtain the model structure and parameters.
3.3
Calculatingmodel
Model structure and parameters for stable calculation.
3.4
Identical calculating model
Consistent with the measured model structure, the calculation model structure and parameters that meet the requirements are confirmed through simulation check.
3.5
Similarcalculatingmodel
There is a certain difference between the structure of the measured model and the model used for stable calculation that basically meets the requirements after simulation by the calculation program and adjustment of the parameters.
Structure and parameters.
3.6
Step test
A step change test of the set value of the controlled quantity.
