Foreword
GB/T 20291 "Household vacuum cleaners" is divided into the following three parts.
--- Part 1. dry vacuum cleaner performance test methods;
--- Part 2. Wet vacuum cleaner performance test methods;
--- Part 3. Performance test methods for household cleaning robot.
This section GB/T 20291 Part 1.
This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This Part replaces GB/T 20291-2006 "domestic vacuum cleaner performance test method."
This portion of the GB/T 20291-2006 main differences are as follows.
--- According to IEC 60312-1.2010 (First Edition) "Household vacuum cleaners - Part 1. dry vacuum cleaner performance test side

1 Scope
This section GB/T 20291 specifies the method of basic performance characteristics of the vacuum cleaner and described measuring these characteristics.
This section applies to performance testing dry vacuum cleaners for use at home, and similar conditions.
Note 1. Due to environmental conditions, time, test materials and the impact of the operation level, when comparing the test at the same time in the same laboratory, by the same
Operator test, most of the test methods will be obtained more reliable results.
Note 2. This section does not involve battery-powered vacuum cleaner.
