Summary
This standard specifies the Marine GPS receiving equipment minimum performance standards, methods of testing and required test results. The device is the use of the United States Federal Government Department of Defense (US DOD) Global Positioning System (GPS) signals for positioning. In the Selective Availability (SA) valid cases, the definition of the GPS Standard Positioning Service (SPS) signal specification (U. S. Department of Defense announced in December 1993 the GPS signal specification, has GPS SPS described). This standard also applies to IMO Resolution A. 529 (13) as specified in other water use in navigation GPS receiving device.
