Foreword
GB/T 12001 "unplasticized PVC plastic molding and extrusion materials" is divided into two parts.
--- Part 1. Designation system and basis;
--- Part 2. Preparation and properties of the specimen was measured.
This section GB/T 12001 Part 1, this part identical with ISO 1163-1.1995 "Plastics unplasticized PVC
(PUC-U) molding and extrusion materials - Part 1. Designation system and basis for specifications "(in English).
This section is equivalent translation ISO 1163-1.1995.
For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.
a) Remove the ISO 1163-1.1995 Foreword;
b) "This part of ISO 1163" to "GB/T 12001 this part" or "this part";
c) For ISO 1163-1.1995 international standard references, references identical with its revised national standards.
This Part replaces GB/T 12001.1-1989 "unplasticized PVC window Moulding - Part 1. Designation"
This section compared with the GB/T 12001.1-1989 The main changes are as follows.
a) the name was changed to "unplasticized PVC plastic molding and extrusion materials - Part 1. Designation system and basis";
b) character in group 2 adds some code;
c) modify the range of values in Table 2 of the symbols and their representatives.
This part is proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
This part of the National Standardization Technical Committee of plastic products and plastic resins General Methods Chapter (SAC/TC15/SC4) centralized.
This part mainly drafted by. Sinopec hospital north of the National Chemical Building Materials Testing Center (Materials Testing section).
Participated in the drafting of this section. Country of synthetic resin Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical resin.
The main drafters of this section. Hu Xiaoyi, Li Shengde, Sun Quan, Wang Jiandong, Chen vows.
This part of the standard replaces the previous editions as. GB/T 12001.1-1989.

Unplasticized PVC plastic molding and extrusion materials
Part 1. Designation system and basis
1 Scope
1.1 GB/T 12001 in the provisions of this section as unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) of thermoplastic material classification based naming system.
1.2 Different types of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride thermoplastic material distinction in a classification system. The system applies the following characteristic
Values can range as well as on recommended use and (or) method of processing, important properties, additives, colorants, fillers and reinforcing materials and other information
basis.
a) Vicat softening temperature;
b) Charpy notched impact strength;
c) modulus of elasticity.
1.3 section applies to all plasticized vinyl chloride are not homopolymers, vinyl chloride content of not less than 50% unplasticized copolymer
mixture. At the same time one and more content polymers are also suitable for mixtures of CPVC and not less than the above-mentioned
50% of the mixture.
This section applies to a conventional powdery, granular particles or broken, or not modified by colorants, additives, fillers, such as modified materials.
This section does not apply to foam.
1.4 part does not necessarily mean naming the same material with the same properties. This section does not provide instructions for use and special materials
(Or) processing methods required for the project character, performance, character or character processing conditions.
If necessary, according to GB/T 12001 Test methods specified in Part 2 to determine these additional properties.
1.5 In order to illustrate some unplasticized PVC material for special purposes or in order to ensure process reproducibility, can give in the fifth group of characters
The additional requirements (see Chapter 3 introduces the paragraph).
