This document specifies the safety of multifunctional shower cubicles and stand-alone multifunctional shower equipment for household and similar purposes.
This document applies to household and similar appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V for single-phase appliances and 480V for other appliances.
Multifunctional shower room and independent multifunctional shower equipment for occasions.
This document also applies to appliances that are not intended for general household use but may still pose a hazard to the public, for example. in hotels, fitness centers
and similar places where non-professionals use the equipment.
This document deals with appliances that present common hazards encountered by all persons in and around the home.
