Compression and extension length measurement 6.2.5.2
From the end of the test sample which was suspended and floating state under its own weight, measured sleeves, i.e. the maximum length of the guard arms extended length, measured ruler
Inch should control shown in FIG. 1 A, B or D. Shall be measured five times, between the two measurements, the bottom should be raised so as to compress the sample, then slowly release
Let it hang freely put before measurement.
Select the size appropriate test arm (see Table 2), as shown in Figure 4 The sample contained in the test support arm, wrist strap resting on the vertical arm of the test
Suitable support surface and adjust the tightness test to be vertically suspended arm. Mass (500 ± 10) g of sample was placed on the upper end of the compression ring, measured in FIG. 1
A shown in A, B or D is the sample size corresponding to the compressed length. Shall be measured five times, between the two measurements, the test to be turned upside down
Arm, so that the sample is fully extended. When testing the arm back to its normal upward direction, the sample should be naturally dropped, the compression ring and then put onto the sample.
Calculate and record the compressed and extended length arithmetic mean length.
