SN/T 1888 “Hygienic Standard for Import and Export Irradiated Food Containers and Packaging Materials” is divided into ten parts. — Part 1. Polypropylene resin; — Part 2. Products of polypropylene; — Part 3. Products of nylon; — Part 4. Products of polyethylene; — Part 5. Products of PVC; — Part 6. Polystyrene resin; — Part 7. Products of polystyrene; — Part 8. Vinylidene chloride-vinyl chloride copolymer resign; — Part 9. PVC resin; — Part 10. Polycarbonate resin. This Standard is the fourth part of SN/T 1888. This Standard is proposed by and under jurisdiction of National Certification, Accreditation and Inspection Management Committee. The drafting organizations of this Standard. 1 Scope

This Standard of SN/T 1888 specifies hygiene standards and analytical methods for products of polyethylene used for export and import irradiated food packaging. This Standard applies to containers, packaging container and food industrial equipments, which uses polyethylene resin as raw material, of import and export irradiated food.

2 Normative references

The articles contained in the following documents have become this Standard of SN/T 1888 when they are quoted herein. For the dated documents, all the modifications (excluding corrections) or revisions made thereafter shall not be applicable to this Standard. 3 Terms and definitions
