Example: 06Ni9DR. Where: 06 – average carbon content (in parts per 10,000); Ni9 – average nickel content, 9%; DR – the Chinese Pinyin initials of “Di” (low) and “Rong” (vessel).5 Order contentThe order content of steel plates shall comply with the regulations of GB/T 713.1.6 Size, shape, weightThe size, shape, and weight of steel plates shall comply with the regulations of GB/T 713.1.7 Technical requirements7.1 Designation and chemical composition 7.1.1 The designation and chemical composition (melting analysis) of steels shall comply with the requirements in Table 1. See Appendix A for a comparison of similar designations between this document and relevant foreign standards.9 Inspection rules9.1 Inspection and acceptance The inspection and acceptance of steel plates shall be carried out by the supplier’s quality inspection department. 9.2 Batch 9.2.1 08Ni3DR shall be accepted in batches. Each batch shall be composed of steel plates of the same designation, furnace number, thickness and heat treatment system. The weight of each batch shall not exceed 30 t. Steel plates with a single weight of more than 30 t shall be batched in a single piece. 9.2.2 07Ni5DR, 06Ni7DR, 06Ni9DR shall be batched by heat treatment pieces. 9.3 Sampling quantity and sampling method The sampling quantity and sampling method of each batch of steel plates shall comply with the provisions of Table 3. 9.4 Re-inspection and determination rules The re-inspection and determination rules of steel plates shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 713.1. 9.5 Numerical rounding Numerical rounding shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 713.1.10 Packaging, marking, quality certificates, as well astransportation and storage 10.1 The packaging, marking and quality certificate of steel plates shall comply with the regulations of GB/T 713.1. 10.2 The quality certificate shall indicate the tempering temperature. When requested by the buyer, the actual heat treatment process can be indicated. 10.3 The surface anti-corrosion and transportation requirements of steel plates shall be stipulated in the agreement between the supplier and the buyer. 10.4 Steel plates with qualified residual magnetism cannot be lifted by electromagnets.
