If manufacturing date (such as year-month) mark is needed to be added, it shall be negotiated by supplier and purchaser.4 Marking method4.1 manufacturing-place mark shall be continuously marked on the outer surface of the sheath or insulation; or continuously marked on scrape-tape, isolation strip, insulating strip, or marking strip. It may be marked together with the functional mark. It is allowed to adopt the manufacturer’s specific single-colour or multi-colour marking lines, however, it must be clearly defined in the product standard. 4.3 The arrangement sequence of marks are usually the manufacturer's name or trademark, model and specification.
