GB 175 Common Portland Cement GB/T 6003.2 Test Sieves of Perforated Metal Plate3 Terms and DefinitionsThe following terms and definitions are applicable to this Standard. Granulated Electric Furnace Phosphorous Slag When electric furnace method is adopted to prepare yellow phosphorus, molten material, whose primary element is calcium silicate, is obtained. Through quenching granulation, it becomes granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag (phosphorous slag, for short).4 Technical Requirements4.1 Mass coefficient K of raw phosphorous slag shall be not less than 1.1. 4.2 In phosphorous slag, mass fraction of phosphorous pentoxide shall be not more than 3.5%. 4.5 Any foreign substances, for example, phosphorus mud, shall not be mixed into it. 4.6 Conduct the inspection in accordance with 5.6, the radioactivity of phosphorous slag shall satisfy relevant requirements in GB 6566.5 Test Methods5.1 Calcium Oxide, Magnesium Oxide, Silicon Dioxide, Aluminum oxide, Fluorine Content and Phosphorus Pentoxide Content Conduct the test in accordance with the method in JC/T 1088. 5.2 Mass Fraction K Mass fraction of raw phosphorus slag shall be calculated in accordance with Formula (1). The calculation result shall retain two decimal places. 5.4 Granule Content over 10 mm Use 10 mm circular sieve, whose aperture satisfies the requirement in GB/T 6003.2 to test granule content. Dry phosphorous slag at (105 ± 5) °C to constant weight, then, weigh-take 2 kg of phosphorous slag sample, place it in the sieve. Manually vibrate it, till there is no apparent sample passing through, then, weigh the residue on the sieve. Mass fraction of granule over 10 mm shall be calculated in accordance with Formula (2). The calculation result shall retain to integer. 5.6 Radioactivity Grind phosphorous slag powder into refined powder whose granule size shall be less than 0.16 mm.6 Inspection Rules6.1 Sampling Method Phosphorous slag, which is discharged every half a month, shall be deemed as one batch here. Sample can be taken continuously; or an equivalent amount of sample can be taken from over 20 different parts and the total amount of the sample shall be at least 20 kg. After thoroughly mixing the sample, use quartering method to quarter the sample to 5 kg for tests. During sampling, eliminate 150 mm ~ 200 mm surface layer. 6.3 Type Inspection Under one of the following circumstances, type inspection shall be conducted in accordance with all the requirements in Chapter 4. 6.4 Determination Rules7 Transportation and StorageIn bulk transportation, phosphorus slag shall not be mixed with other materials. Wagon or compartment must be cleaned up, so as to avoid the mixture with foreign substances. In terms of storage, foreign substances shall not be mixed with phosphorus slag.8 Requirements of UsageWhen a cement enterprise starts using phosphorous slag provided by the supply side, it shall conduct acceptance inspection in accordance with all the requirements in Chapter 4.Appendix A(Normative) Determination Method of Bulk Weight of Granulated Electric Furnace Phosphorous Slag A.1 Instruments A.1.3 Steel ruler The length of steel ruler shall be not less than 150 mm. A.1.4 Platform scale The division value of platform scale shall be not more than 10 g. A.2.2 Test In the test of bulk weight, place the bulk weight meter on a stable test table. Thoroughly mix up the sample; block the lower mouth of the funnel. Pour the phosphorous slag sample into the funnel. Open the feed opening, so that phosphorous slag can naturally fall into the bulk weight cylinder.
