This standard was redrafted in accordance with ISO 5452:1980. In order to facilitate comparison, Appendix A lists the comparison of the clause numbers BETWEEN this standard AND ISO 5452:1980. Considering Chinese national conditions, this standard made revisions, when adopting ISO 5452:1980. These technical differences are marked with a single vertical line, in the margins of the terms they refer to. Appendix B gives a list of technical differences and their reasons, for reference. For ease of use, for ISO 5452:1980, this standard has also made the following editorial changes: - CHANGE the term "this international standard" to "this standard"; - USE a decimal point ".", to replace the comma ",", which was originally used as a decimal point; - DELETE the foreword of ISO 5452:1980.
