This Standard is applicable to the manufacture of aluminum alloy wires with rated voltage of 0.6kV~1kV aluminum alloy conductors and XLPE insulated cable conductors.2 Normative referencesThe following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. GB/T 3048.2-2007, Test methods for electrical properties of electric cables and wires - Part 2: Test of electrical resistivity of metallic materials GB/T 4909.2-2009, Test methods for bare wires - Part 2: Measurement of dimensions GB/T 4909.3-2009, Test methods for bare wires - Part 3: Tensile test GB/T 16825.2-2005, Verification of static uniaxial testing machines - Part 2: Tension creep testing machines - Verification of the applied force GB/T 20141-2006, Overhead electrical conductors - Formed wire, concentric lay, stranded conductors GB/T 20975 (all parts), Methods for chemical analysis of aluminium and aluminium alloys3 Terms and definitionsFor the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 20141- 2006 as well as the followings apply. 3.1 cross-section shape The shape of a single wire cross section. The cross-section shape of aluminium alloy wires for conductors of insulated cables is divided into two types: circular cross-section and special-shaped cross-section. 3.2 nominal value A nominal or flag value of a measurable performance, used to mark a single line and give a tolerance. 3.3 equivalent wire diameter The diameter of a circular single wire with the same cross-section area, mass and resistance as the profiled wire of the same material and condition. [GB/T 20141-2006, definition 3.5]4 Product naming and representationAluminium alloy wires for conductors of insulated cables are indicated by model, state, specification and serial number of this Standard. The representation method is as follows: Example: The aluminium alloy wire for conductors of insulated cables, of which the nominal equivalent wire diameter is 3.000mm, the composition code is 1, the state is soft, is expressed as: DLH1/R-3.000 GB/T 30552-20145 SpecificationThe specification of aluminium alloy wires for conductors of insulated cables is expressed by nominal diameter or nominal equivalent wire diameter. The range shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Table 1 -- Model specifications of aluminium alloy wires for conductors of Reference to this Standard Specification [□ is the nominal diameter or the nominal equivalent wire diameter, in millimeters (mm)] State (□ is soft state R or hard state Y) Model (DLH means the aluminium alloy wires for conductors of insulated cables, □ means component code of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) B.2.3 Use a heating device to heat the specimen to the specified temperature for the test. The allowable deviation between the specified temperature and the displayed temperature shall not be greater than ±3℃. The maximum allowable temperature deviation in the length direction of the specimen is 3°C. The resolution of the temperature display device shall be at least 0.5℃. The accuracy of the temperature measuring device shall be equal to or better than 1°C. The temperature drift of the thermocouple during the calibration period shall not exceed ±1°C. B.2.4 The working surfaces of the upper and lower platens of the testing machine shall be parallel. The parallelism within 100mm of the specimen installation area shall not be less than 1:0.0002mm/mm. During the test, there shall be no lateral relative displacement and rotation between the upper and lower pressing plates. The hardness of the pressing plate shall not be lower than 55HRC. B.3 Test method B.3.1 The temperature of compressive creep test shall be 50℃~120℃. The test compressive stress shall not be greater than the yield strength of the specimen. The compressive stress shall not be less than 70% of the yield strength. B.3.2 Place the specimen vertically between the upper and lower pressing plates of the creep endurance testing machine. When the specimen is installed, adjust the specimen to make its longitudinal axis coincide with the longitudinal axis of the pressure plate. Close the environmental chamber. Heat the specimen to the specified test temperature. To thermally equilibrate the specimen, gripping device, and extensometer, the specimen shall be held at least 30min before the test force is applied. When testing with an installed extensometer, a certain initial load (less than 10% of the test force) can be applied during the heating process to maintain the coaxiality of the loading chain of the specimen (for example, before t=0). B.3.3 The test force shall be applied in the axial direction of the specimen in such a way that the minimum bending moment and torque are produced. The test force shall be accurate to at least ±1%. The application of the test force shall be vibration-free and as fast as possible. When the load corresponding to the test stress is fully applied to the specimen, start the creep test (t=0) and record the creep deformation. Carry out the compressive creep test for 100h. The load shall be kept constant during the test. The temperature fluctuation shall not be greater than ±3℃. B.4 Data record Creep deformation data shall be recorded continuously, or enough data shall be recorded throughout the test to draw a "creep strain-time" curve. On the logarithmic axis of creep strain versus time, the collected data will be close to a straight line. To make the data collection points evenly distributed along the fitted line, when plotting creep curves, within the first 20h after the start of the test, the creep data shall be taken at 20min intervals. After 20h, the creep data shall be taken at the time interval of ......Source: Above contents are excerpted from the full-copy PDF -- translated/reviewed by: www.ChineseStandard.net / Wayne Zheng et al.
