3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions of GB/T 20565 are used in the standard.

4 Principle

The test sample rotates.200 revolutions at a speed of 25r/min in a circular drum. The test sample after rotation is 6.30mm and 500μm square Screen with hole test sieve. The drum index is expressed by the mass fraction of +6.30mm, and the wear resistance index is expressed by the mass fraction of -500μm. 5 Sampling, sample preparation and preparation of test samples 5.1 Sampling and sample preparation Sampling and sample preparation are carried out in accordance with GB/T 10322.1. The granularity of pellets ranges from 6.30mm to 40mm. The size of sinter and lump ore ranges from 10mm to 40mm. 60kg dry-based sample that meets the particle size requirements. The sample is dried to constant weight in a drying oven at 105°C ± 5°C, and cooled to room temperature before the test sample is prepared. Note. If the mass change of the sample after two consecutive dryings does not exceed 0.05% of the original mass of the sample, the sample is considered to have reached a constant weight state. 5.2 Preparation of test sample The test sample should be drawn from the sample according to the reduction method specified in GB/T 10322.1. Prepare at least 4 test samples for pellets, each with a mass of 15kg ± 0.15kg. For sinter and lump ore, pass the sample through 25.0mm, 16.0mm and 10.0mm sieves to divide the sample into 4 parts, according to The proportion of each of the 3 sieve objects shall be taken as the test sample with the corresponding mass of 15kg ± 0.15kg, at least 4 copies, and the record of each test sample Quality and number. GB/T 24531-2009/ISO 3271..2007

6 Equipment

6.1 General Test equipment composition. a) Test equipment generally includes drying oven, hand tools, timer and safety equipment; b) Rotating drum and rotating equipment; c) Test sieve; d) Weighing device. 6.2 Drum It is made of steel plate with a thickness greater than 5mm, with an inner diameter of 1000mm and an inner length of 500mm. Two equidistant L-shaped lifting plate drums The length is 500mm, and other dimensions are 50mm wide×50mm high×5mm thick, symmetrically welded to the inner side of the drum wall, avoid use When the test sample is piled up between the lifting plate and the drum wall. One side of the angle steel is opposite to the direction of drum rotation to ensure that there is no obstacle between the lifting plate and the sample. Install The inside of the feed opening and the inner wall of the drum maintain a smooth surface, and there is a strong gusset and sealed to prevent sample loss. The shaft of the drum does not pass through the drum The parts are connected to the short shafts of the flanges on both sides of the drum to keep the inner wall of the drum smooth and flat. When the thickness of any part of the drum wall is worn to 3mm, The drum should be replaced with a new one. When the height of the lifting plate is worn to less than 47mm, it should be replaced. An example of a rotating drum is shown in Figure 1. Unit is mm a) Front view b) Side view (ID inner diameter) 1---Revolution counter; 2---Door handle; 3---Short shaft (do not pass through the tympanic cavity); 4---Two lifting boards (50×50×5); 5---Rotation direction; 6---Drum wall. Figure 1 Example of test equipment (schematic diagram) 6.3 Rotating equipment Ensure that the drum can obtain a constant rotation speed of 25r/min±1r/min within one revolution and stop within one revolution. Equipment should be equipped Equipped with a rotation counter and an automatic control device, so that the drum can automatically stop after completing the specified number of revolutions. GB/T 24531-2009/ISO 3271..2007 6.4 Test sieve The square hole sieves with nominal sizes of 6.30mm and 500μm shall meet the requirements of GB/T 6003.1 and GB/T 6003.2. 6.5 Weighing equipment It has the ability to weigh samples and test samples, and its sensitivity is more than 1/1000.

7 Test procedure

7.1 Number of test measurements Perform the necessary number of tests in accordance with the provisions of Appendix A. 7.2 Drum test Rotate.200 revolutions at a rotation speed of 25r/min±1r/min. After the drum stops rotating, let it stand for 2 minutes in a sealed state, open the cover, and let The dust settled down. Warning. The rotating drum will produce noise, which should protect the hearing of the operator. It is recommended to use putty, clay, and rubber to seal the charging cover to prevent dust from overflowing from the drum. 7.3 Screening Carefully remove all test samples from the drum, and pour them onto a sieve surface (6.4) composed of 6.30mm and 500μm in accordance with GB/T 10322.7 The loss of the test sample during the process should be calculated into the mass of -500μm. Note. The auxiliary sieve can be used to reduce the load on the measuring sieve. The difference between the initial mass of the test sample and the sum of the mass of each particle after the drum is discharged shall not exceed 1.0%. If it exceeds, the test is invalid.

8 Results presentation

8.1 Calculation of drum index (TI) and wear resistance index (AI) The drum index (TI) and the wear resistance index (AI) are calculated by formula (1) and formula (2) and expressed by mass fraction (%). 100 (1) 100 (2) Where. Each calculation result retains one decimal place. 8.2 Repeatability and acceptability of test results Operate in accordance with the procedure given in Appendix A, the test results meet the repeatability value in Table 1, and the report results are kept to a decimal. Drum Index (TI) (+6.30mm) 1.4 Wear Index (AI) (-500μm) 0.8

9 Test report

The test report should contain the following information. GB/T 24531-2009/ISO 3271..2007 a) The standard number; b) Information necessary to distinguish the samples; c) The name and address of the laboratory; d) Test date; e) Date of test report; f) Signature of tester; g) Any operation details and test conditions not specified in this standard, or factors that may have an influence on the test results; h) Drum Index (TI) and Wear Index (AI); i) The type of test sieve used. 10 Check Regular inspection of equipment is necessary to ensure the reliability of test results. Checks should be carried out regularly, the interval is determined by each The room decides for itself. The items to be inspected should include. ---Test sieve; ---Weighing equipment; ---Drum; ---Drum rotating equipment. It is recommended to use internal reference materials to regularly check the repeatability or reproducibility of the test, and to keep proper records of the test process.
