1 Scope
This document specifies general requirements for the concept, knowledge product,
knowledge service, organizations and personnel, and personal knowledge service
platform of Internet-based personal knowledge service.
This document applies to the design, development, evaluation and improvement, etc.
of knowledge services or knowledge products provided for personal knowledge based
on the Internet, as well as the design, development, evaluation and improvement, etc.
of Internet-based personal knowledge service platform systems.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Knowledge service
The service activity which takes knowledge products as the core to carry out knowledge
identification, development, quality test, transaction and delivery, customer support and
evaluation.
3.2
Personal knowledge service
The knowledge service provided for individuals.
3.3
Knowledge product
The intellectual achievement produced through the creative activity of an individual
person or organization.
3.4
Personal knowledge service platform
The network information platform which provides knowledge services.
3.5
Knowledge producer
The organization or individual which provides knowledge products.
3.6
Knowledge worker
Persons who carry out work related to the production and service of knowledge
products.
Note: Knowledge workers include personal knowledge service platform’s operation and service
personnel, knowledge producers, platform technical personnel, etc.

Knowledge operators
Organizations or individuals engaged in knowledge service business activities through
the personal knowledge service platform.
3.8
Knowledge consumer
An individual user who uses knowledge products.
4 General overview
4.1 Reference framework
b) Knowledge of personal operation skills, methods and tools, such as computer
operation, network retrieval, car driving and other knowledge;
c) Knowledge of personal social interactions, such as foreign languages, dialects,
communication skills and other knowledge;
d) Knowledge of personal leisure and entertainment, such as local customs and
practices, film and television, music, opera and other knowledge;
e) Knowledge of personal health, wellness and fitness, such as disease prevention
and treatment, fitness, exercise, health preservation and other knowledge;
f) Knowledge of personal financial services, such as funds, stocks and other related
knowledge.
Note: The above items are only a descriptive introduction to personal knowledge. The contents may
overlap and are not used as a basis for classification.
4.3 Form of knowledge product
4.3.1 Overview
Personal knowledge can be tacit knowledge contained in the minds of knowledge
producers, or explicit knowledge expressed through works, CDs, self-media, blogs,
audio, and video, etc. The knowledge products provided on the personal knowledge
service platform can be knowledge services such as live courses, pre-recorded voice
courses, knowledge Q & A provided by knowledge producers; or physical products such
as e-books, CDs, courseware, and works.
4.3.2 Tacit knowledge product
Knowledge transfer services provided by knowledge producers for individuals through
voice, video and other forms, include but are not limited to:
a) On-site explanation courses;
b) Real-time and/or delayed knowledge Q & A for individuals.
4.3.3 Explicit knowledge product
Knowledge products provided by knowledge workers in the form of electronic files,
paper files, physical models, etc. through knowledge design and production, include
but are not limited to:
a) E-books;
b) Paper books;
c) Audiobooks;
d) Question bank;
e) Physical models;
f) Data storage devices containing knowledge content.
5 Knowledge service
5.1 Identification
By analyzing the knowledge service market, knowledge operators discover and
accurately locate:
a) Potential markets, to discover valuable knowledge products or knowledge services;
b) Potential knowledge consumers, to help them achieve cognitive upgrading, ability
enhancement and self-development;
c) Potential knowledge producers, to discover organizations or individuals that
possess knowledge and have market value.
5.2 Development
5.2.1 Design
The design shall include the following:
a) Determine the knowledge product’s target customer, customer size, product cost,
and carrier form;
b) Communicate and determine intellectual property ownership.
5.2.2 Production
In the production stage of knowledge products, it shall meet the following requirements:
a) According to the preliminary design plan of the product, complete the writing of
knowledge content, image-text layout, audio and video production, etc.;
b) Conduct necessary training for knowledge producers, including the functions of

cognitive upgrading and solving specific problems;
b) Good credit, without bad speech record.
6.2 Collaborator
Collaborators shall meet the following requirements:
a) Possess certain subject expertise;
b) Be proficient in using the personal knowledge service platform;
c) Have the ability to assist knowledge producers to continuously optimize
knowledge products.
6.3 Quality tester
Quality testers shall meet the following requirements:
a) Be familiar with the specifications and features of knowledge products; have
expertise in related fields;
b) Be able to use an operable audit system, to evaluate the quality of knowledge
services or knowledge products;
c) Feedback the audit results to knowledge producers in a timely manner; put
forward suggestions for improvement.
6.4 Technical personnel
The personal knowledge service platform should set up relevant technical personnel,
including software product developers, artificial intelligence analysts, platform
maintainers, etc., to carry out the following work:
a) Develop corresponding software products for knowledge products;
b) Track the development trend of technology; continuously improve the personal
knowledge service platform;
c) Use related technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence, to analyze
deep-level market demand;
d) Provide reliable management and maintenance services and related technical
support for the continuous and stable operation of personal knowledge service
platform.
7 Personal knowledge service platform
7.1 General requirements

7.2 Functional requirements
