Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard was proposed by the China Light Industry Association.
This standard shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Spice and
Fragrance Cosmetics Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC 257).

Skin care oil
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods,
inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, shelf life of
skin care oil.
This standard applies to oily products which have a main purpose of
moisturizing and protecting the skin.
2 Normative references
The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For
the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable
to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including
all the amendments) are applicable to this standard.

3 Classification
According to the composition of the skin care oil, it can be divided into the skin
care oil which contains only mineral oil (it may add flavor and antioxidant) (type-
1), other skin care oils than type-1 (type-2).
4 Requirements
4.1 Raw materials
The raw materials used shall meet the requirements of the “Specifications of
cosmetic hygiene”. The fragrance used shall meet the requirements of GB/T
22731.
4.3 Sensory, physical-chemical, hygienic indicators
Sensory, physical-chemical, hygienic indicators shall meet the requirements of
Table 1.
5 Test methods
5.1 Sensory indicators
5.1.1 Color
Make visual observation at room temperature without direct sunlight.
5.1.2 Odor
Use smell for identification.
5.2 Physical-chemical indicators
5.2.1 Relative density
It is carried out according to the method of GB/T 13531.4.
5.2.2 Heat-resistance
5.2.2.1 Instruments
Constant temperature incubator. Temperature control accuracy ± 1 °C.
5.2.3 Cold-resistance
5.2.3.1 Instruments
Refrigerator. Temperature control accuracy ± 2 °C.
5.2.4 Acid value
It is carried out according to Appendix A of QB/T 4079-2010.
5.2.5 Peroxide value
It is carried out according to Appendix B of QB/T 4079-2010.
5.2.6 Test of acid-base
5.3 Hygienic indicators
It is tested according to the method as specified in the “Specifications of
cosmetic hygiene”.
5.4 Net content
It is determined according to the method as specified in JJF 1070.
5.5 Package’s appearance
It is carried out according to QB/T 1685.
6 Inspection rules
It is carried out according to QB/T 1684.
7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage, shelf life
7.1 Markings of sales packaging
It is carried out according to GB 5296.3.
7.2 Packaging
It is carried out according to QB/T 1685.
7.3 Transportation
It shall be handled gently, stacked according to the graphic markings of the
packaging box.
7.5 Shelf life
Under the conditions of transport and storage which comply with the
requirements, when the product’s package is complete and not opened, the
shelf life shall be in accordance with the marking of the sales package.
