1 Scope

This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements and inspection methods for water quality for heating and air conditioning systems. This Standard is applicable to circulating cold water system for central air conditioning and circulating cold water system, circulating water system for direct-evaporative cooling and indirect-evaporative cooling, as well as central heating circulating hot water system with water temperature not exceeding 95°C. This Standard is inapplicable to air conditioning humidification circulating water system.

4 Requirements

4.1 Indirect open circulating cooling water system for central air conditioning 4.1.1 Water quality for indirect open circulating cooling water system for central air conditioning shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Table 1 – Water quality requirements for indirect open circulating cooling water system for central air conditioning 4.7 Water quality for central direct heating system 4.7.1 Water quality for central direct heating system shall meet the requirements of GB/T 1576. Water quality for make-up water shall meet the requirements of 4.3.1 in CJJ 34-2010. 4.7.2 When the water quality of the make-up water exceeds this Standard, the make-up water shall be treated accordingly. 4.7.3 The central direct heating system shall set up the corresponding circulating water quality control device.

5 Inspection methods

5.1 Sampling 5.1.1 Selection of sampling points 5.1.1.1 The sampling point of the circulating cooling water system for central air conditioning shall be set at the water inlet of the condenser. 5.1.1.2 The sampling point of the circulating cold water system for central air conditioning shall be set at the water inlet of the evaporator. 5.1.1.3 The sampling point of the heating circulating water system shall be set at the water inlet of the heat exchange equipment. 5.1.1.4 The sampling point of the evaporative circulating cooling water system shall be set at the cooling tower catchment pan. 5.1.1.5 The sampling point of make-up water shall be set behind the metering water meter of the make-up water main pipe. 5.1.2 Sampling requirements 5.1.2.1 Sampling containers for general testing items can be colorless rigid glass bottles or polyethylene plastic bottles. They shall be washed before use. The glass bottle can be soaked with lotion. Then use tap water and distilled water to clean it for later use. The polyethylene bottle can be soaked with 10% hydrochloric acid solution. Then use tap water and distilled water to clean it for later use. 5.1.2.2 Dedicated sample storage containers shall be used to determine dissolved oxygen and biochemical oxygen demand. The sample container of inorganic item can choose high-density polyethylene or hard glass container. 5.1.2.3 When collecting water samples, water shall be drained for a few minutes ......
