Respirator paper
1 Scope
This Standard specifies product classification, requirements, test methods,
inspection rules as well as marks, packaging, transportation and storage of
respirator paper.
This Standard is applicable to processing paper respirator paper.
2 Normative references
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard
through reference in this Standard. For dated references, the subsequent
amendments (excluding corrigendum) or revisions do not apply to this Standard,
however, parties who reach an agreement based on this Standard are
encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are applicable.

GB/T 10739, Paper, board and pulps - STANDARD atmosphere for
tight. The core shall not be loose.
4.4 The joints of each roll of paper shall not exceed three. The joint shall be
pasted firmly and marked.
4.5 The hygienic indicator shall meet the hygienic requirements of ordinary
respirators in GB 15979. Sampling for continuous production shall be no less
than once a month.
4.6 Raw materials shall be non-toxic, harmless and pollution-free. Prohibit the
use of discarded hygiene products as raw materials or semi-finished products.
5 Test methods
5.1 The sampling, processing and inspection of samples shall be carried out in
accordance with the provisions of GB/T 450 and GB/T 10739.
5.2 Quantitation shall be determined according to GB/T 451.2.
5.3 After determining the layer thickness according to GB/T 451.3, the tightness
is calculated.
5.4 The tensile strength is determined according to GB/T 12914. Use constant
speed drawing method to determine in arbitration.
5.5 The air permeability is determined according to Annex A.
5.6 The wet tensile strength is determined according to GB/T 465.2. Immersion
time is 10min. Use constant speed drawing method to determine in arbitration.
5.7 The brightness is determined according to GB/T 7974.
5.8 The dustiness is determined according to GB/T 1541.
5.9 Fluorescent substance inspection: Randomly take 5 samples of 100cm2
from the sample. Place under 365nm and 254nm UV lamps for inspection.
There shall be no fluorescence reaction in each sample.
5.10 The delivery moisture is determined according to GB/T 462.
5.11 Appearance quality is visually inspected.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 One delivery shall be a lot but not more than 10t.
A.3 Devices
A.3.1 The air permeability tester of respirator paper shall meet the following
a) Sample holder: The test area is 2cm2 round sample holder. When
clamping the sample, the sample holder shall avoid the influence of air
leakage on the measurement result. Air leakage shall not exceed 1% of
the measured airflow.
b) Airflow device: A stable and adjustable pressure difference air flow shall
be produced between the two sides of the sample.
c) Sensor: Used to measure the air flow through the sample, the relative error
shall not exceed 2% of the measured value.
d) Display device: Used to display or print the measurement results.
A.3.2 Pressure gauge: Measuring range is 0.25kPa ~ 2.5kPa and the accuracy
is level I.
A.3.3 Standard flow plate: Used to calibrate the air flow rate through the probe
under a certain pressure difference. The accuracy is 0.2%.
A.4 Sample preparation
Conduct sampling according to GB/T 450. Randomly extract samples of which
the total test area is not less than 12 × 2 cm2 = 24 cm2 from the taken samples
as specimens for air permeability determination.
A.5 Steps
A.5.1 Turn on the power and keep the instrument in a stable state.
A.5.2 Turn on the gas source to stabilize the instrument pressure at 0.3MPa.
A.5.3 Turn on the pressure gauge and calibrate the display pressure of the
instrument to make it consistent with the pressure gauge.
A.5.4 Use a standard flow plate (A.3.3) to calibrate the air flow rate through the
