1Foreword
This national standard is corresponding to ISO 7416 Plain washers for High-strength
Structural Bolting Hardened and Tempered. Its consistency is not equivalent to ISO
7416.
This standard replaces GB/T 1230-1991 High Strength Plain Washers for Steel
Structures.
As compared with GB/T 1230-1991, the changes in this standard are listed as below.
-The dimension code of plain washers has been changed into “h” (Chapter 3 of GB/T
1230-1991).
This standard is one of Contact Sets of Friction-type High Strength Bolt Hexagon Nut and
Plain Washer for Steel Structures of Chinese Standard Product Series. The standards of
this series also include.

2High Strength Plain Washers for Steel Structures
1 Scope
This national standard specifies the style and size, technical condition and tagging of the
high strength plain whose dimensions are 12mm~30mm.
This national standard is applicable to the contact sets of friction-type high strength
bolt hexagon nut and plain washer for steel structures which should be used
together with GB/T 1228-2006 High Strength Bolts with Large Hexagon Head for
Steel Structures.
