1 Scope

The standard specifies that safety techniques should be conformed to when designing, manufacturing, installing, applying, maintaining, or inspecting the tower crane (hereafter referred to as tower machine). This standard is applicable to the construction tower crane. This standard can also be used as the implement reference for tower crane for other purposes. This standard is inapplicable to truck tower crane, mobile tower crane or crawler tower crane.

3 Complete Machine

3.1 The working conditions of tower crane should conform to the provisions of clause 4.1.1 , 4.1.3 and 4.1.4 in GB/T 9462- 1999. 3.2 The anti-rollover stability of tower crane should conform to the provision of clause 4.1.6 in GB/T 9462-1999. 3.3 During jacketing tower crane mast, even if the cylinder rod extends out of the hoisting cylinder during the hoisting circulation process, the upper end of tower body should be 60mm higher than the central line of upper-lined directional roller (or sliding sleeve) at least. 3.4 The tower crane should guarantee no matter on under the working or off working conditions, the balancing weight or mould weight won't occur any shift or being brushed off, no crashing among balancing weight wheels. If the balancing weight is made of particulate material, then the waterproof and weight guaranteeing ballast box should be applied. 3.5 The product label should be sealed on a previous position on the bottom of the tower body. The tablet contents should conform to the provision of clause 7 .1.1 in GB/T 9462- 1999, namely, setting up tablet or display screen for the general-used operational data on a previous position in the operator cab of the tower crane. The tablet or display screen contents should include the amplitude load meter, main performance parameter, hoisting speed and hoisting capacity at each threshold etc .. The tablet or display screen should be installed fixed or safely with eye-catching and clear writing. 3.6 The stochastic technique file provided by tower crane manufacturer should conform to the relevant provisions of GB/T 9462. The operation manual of tower crane should not only conform to the provision of Clause 7.2.6 in GB/T 9462-1999, but also contains the following contents. a) The low temperature mechanical property, operating temperature range and other relevant factors of the main load-carrying structures will decide the application temperature, normal service life or utilize grade, load-up condition, work class and allowable pressure of tower crane; b) The adjusting method, adjusting parameter and error indices of safety device; c) If it is required to install balancing weight before shear leg, then balancing weight quantity, specification and position should be indicated; d) After the completing the shear leg assembly, the testing items and testing method for the connecting pieces like axis pin and location-plate for installing purpose etc.; e) The safety working steps, applied balancing measures, testing parts and testing items during the tower crane mast section inserting and retracting period; f) The model, specification and length of the applied steel wire; g) The pre-tightening force, pre-tightening force moment and testing points of the high strength bolt; h) The length gravity and dismounting suspension centre of shear leg and balance arm. 3.7 The end user of tower crane should establish equipment record, and at least the following contents should be contained. a) Each installation site, utility time, and operation shift record; b) Routine testing record should be established before each start-up according to relevant provisions in GB/T 9462; 4.3.3 The vertical ladder about 75°~90° titling to horizontal surface should meet the following conditions. a) The boundary beams width of no less than 300mm; b) Pedal lever interval of250 mm~300mm; c) The free space between pedal lever and offside structure should be no less than 160mm; d) The boundary beam should be designed applicable to grad or without any pointed edges; e) The pedal lever diameter should be between 16mm to 40mm; f) Pedal lever center. If 1200N force can be born within. any 1 m area, then the vertical ladder won't be deformated under any conditions; g) The breakout gap among tower body boundary beams shouldn't be greater than 40mm. 4.3.4 Retainers retainer should be installed for those vertical ladders about 2m higher of the ground, and retainers should conform to the following conditions. a) With diameter of 600mm~800mm; b) The profiles should be connected with 3 to 5 pieces of vertical battens, which is uniformly distributed in the retainer circle direction; c) Max. interval. 900mm with 3 pieces of vertical battens on the profile; 500mm with 5 pieces of vertical battens on the profiles; d) If lOOON force can be born within any O.lm area, then the retainer won't be deformated under any conditions. 4.3.5 If the ladder is placed within the tower body, the tower body structure satisfies the following conditions, and the tower profile won't allow any 600mrn-diameter sphyre to penetrate (see Figure a), the retainers can be withdrew. a) The side length of square tower body should be no bigger than 750mrn, see Figure b· b) The side length of equilateral triangle tower body should be no bigger than 11 OOmm, see Figure2; c) The side length of right angle isosceles triangle tower body should be no bigger than 11 OOmm, see Figure 3 a); or if the ladder is placed along the diagonal direction of tower body, then the side length of tower body should be no bigger than 11 OOmm, see Figure 3 b); d) The diameter of tubular tower body should be no bigger than 1 OOOmm, see Figure 4; e) Ready-packaged tower crane. due to erode or abrasion of load-carrying structure of tower crane, then it should b... ......
