Thereinto, aritcles 3.0.5, 4.5.1, 4.5.5, 4.5.6, 4.5.7, 4.8.1, 4.9.1 and 5.1.6 are compulsory provisions and must be enforced strictly. The formser national standard "Technical Code for Roof Engineering" (GB 50345-2004) shall be abolished simultaneously. This stadard is published by China Architecture & Building Press under the organization of the Standard Rating Research Institute of our Ministry. Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) May 28, 2012 Foreword According to the requirements of "Notice on Printing the Development and Revision Plan of Engineering Construction Standards in 2009" (Jian Biao [2009] No. 88) issued by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, this code is revised and drafted on the basis of "Technical Code for Roof Engineering"GB 50345-2004 by Shansi Construction engineering (Group) Corporation and Zhejiang Greatwall Construction Group Co., Ltd. jointly with the departments concerned. This standard consists of 5 chapters and 2 appendixes. The main content covers general provisions, terms, basic requirement, roof engineering design, roof engineering construction, etc. In this Code, the provisions printed in black body type are compulsory ones and must be enforced strictly. The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is in charge of the administration of this Code and the explanation of its compulsory provisions, and Shansi Construction engineering Corporation is responsible for the explanation of its specific technical contents.
