Foreword
According to the requirements of "Notice on Printing the Development and Revision
Plan of Engineering Construction Standards in 2009" (Jian Biao [2009] No. 88) issued by
Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, this code is revised and drafted on the
basis of "Technical Code for Roof Engineering"GB 50345-2004 by Shansi Construction
engineering (Group) Corporation and Zhejiang Greatwall Construction Group Co., Ltd.
jointly with the departments concerned.
This standard consists of 5 chapters and 2 appendixes. The main content covers general
provisions, terms, basic requirement, roof engineering design, roof engineering construction,
etc.
In this Code, the provisions printed in black body type are compulsory ones and must be
enforced strictly.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is in charge of the
administration of this Code and the explanation of its compulsory provisions, and Shansi
Construction engineering Corporation is responsible for the explanation of its specific
technical contents. All relevant organizations are kindly requested to sum up and accumulate
your experiences in actual practices and accumulate information during the process of
implementing this code. The relevant opinions and advice, whenever necessary, can be
fedback to Shansi Construction engineering Corporation (address. No.9, Xinjian Road,
