3.3 Self-adhesive sheet
Self-adhesive sheets refer to the water-proof sheets compositing a layer of self-
adhesive material and an isolation protective layer on the surface of each
polymer sheet to improve the adhesive properties between self-adhesive sheet
and base layer, whose cross-sectional structure of each part is the same.
3.4 Special-shaped sheet
Special-shaped sheets refer to the water-proof (drainage) sheets using polymer
composite materials as main materials, whose surfaces are continuous convex
and concave shells or in specific geometric shapes after processed by means
of special technologies.
3.6 Composite strength
It refers to the composite strength BETWEEN the protective or reinforcing layer
on the surface AND the core of the composite sheet, expressed as MPa.
3.7 Section area of drainage water
It refers to the drainage cross-sectional area formed by the shell-shaped
protrusion on per linear meter of cross section of the special-shaped sheet
(waterproofing and drainage protective plate), expressed as cm2.
4 Classification and markings
4.1 Classification of the sheets
As shown in Table 1.
4.2 Product markings
4.2.1 Marking method
MARK the products according to the following sequence. Moreover, it is allowed
to add markings as required.
5 Requirements
5.1 Specifications
The specifications and dimensional tolerances of the sheets are shown in
Tables 2 and 3.Special specifications shall be agreed upon by the supplier and
demander.
5.2 Appearance quality
5.2.1 The sheet surfaces shall be smooth without any defects affecting the
service properties, such as impurities, mechanical damages, creases,
abnormal adhesion, etc.
5.2.2 Under the condition of not affecting the utilization, the defects on the
sheet surfaces shall conform to the following provisions.

6 Test methods
6.1 Determination of the sheet dimensions
6.1.1 Length and width
USE a steel tape for measurement. ACCURATE to 1mm. DETERMINE the
widths at three points on both ends in the longitudinal direction and near the
center. TAKE the arithmetic mean value. For the length determination, TAKE
the shortest part of the full length of each roll.
6.1.2 Thickness
USE a thickness gauge with a division value of 1/100mm, a pressure of (22 ±
5) kPa, a measured foot diameter of 6mm for measurement. The measuring
points are shown in Figure 1.CUT off 300mm from the end.
6.1.3 Shell height of the special-shaped sheet
USE a Vernier caliper with an accuracy of 0.02mm for measurement. CUT off
the test piece with a length of greater than or equal to 300mm from the end.
CUT a 100mm long test piece afterwards. The measuring points shall be same
as Section 6.1.2.ENSURE that the shell in the cutting position is intact. TAKE
the arithmetic mean value of five shell heights as measurement result.
6.2 Appearance quality
USE visual observation and measuring tools for the appearance quality
inspection of the sheets.
6.3 Determination for the physical properties of the sheets

temperature (60°C) and low-temperature (-20°C) tests, if Type I test pieces are
not applicable, it is allowed to use Type II test pieces instead. PREHEAT or
PRECOOL the test pieces at specified temperature for 1h.
6.3.2.1.5 Movement speeds of the test piece holders. For rubber test piece
holders, the movement speed shall be (500 ± 50) mm/min. For resin test piece

provisions on right-angled test pieces with no cuts of GB/T 529.The tensile
speed is same as Section 6.3.2.1.5.As for the composite sheet, TAKE the
maximum force value when stretching the composite sheet until it fractures as
tear strength. TAKE the median of the five test pieces as test result.
6.3.6 Heat expansion
