3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions specified in GB/T 3291.1 and GB/T 5707 apply to this standard. 3.1 The stalk fiber of bamboo plants is a monomer fiber cell or fiber bundle, also known as bamboo fiber. 3.2 The bamboo fiber suitable for textile processing after direct separation of bamboo is mostly bundled bamboo fiber, also known as bamboo craft fiber. 3.3 Bamboo craft fibers with an average length of 25 mm to 40 mm and a linear density of ≤ 20.0 dtex (≥ 500 mm). 3.4 Bamboo craft fibers with an average length of 75 mm or more and a linear density of ≤ 25.0 dtex (≥ 400 mm). 3.5 A bamboo craft fiber that is thick and hard and exceeds 100% of the average fineness of the fiber. ......
