Summary: This standard specifies the pressure equipment using Time of Flight Diffraction ultrasonic testing (hereinafter referred to as "TOFD" ') the methods and quality classification requirements. This section applies to both of the following conditions welded joints: a) material is carbon steel or low alloy steel, b) structure type full penetration butt joints, c) workpiece thickness: 12mm t 400mm (not including welds I high, weld thickness of the base material is not the same on both sides, take the thin side thickness value). Pressure equipment with the relevant support and structural parts of the Time of Flight Diffraction ultrasonic testing, reference may be used in this section, For other fine-grained isotropic and whispered attenuating metal materials can also be used with reference to this section, but should consider the speed of sound changed.
