Summary: This standard specifies the general provisions for the determination of copper in copper-containing sludge, sludge sampling, rapid screening of copper content, and determination of copper content. This standard applies to the determination of copper-containing sludge produced by circuit board manufacturing, electroplating, electroless plating and other surface treatment industries and sewage treatment facilities. Copper content (dry basis): 1.0% to 75.0% by iodometric method, less than 1.0% by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry.
