4 Categories
4.1 Type
The base of the mooring fairlead shall be divided into the following types according to the installation position.
a) Type A. deck mounted mooring fairlead base;
b) Type B. mooring fairlead bases installed on deck and side;
c) Type C. mooring fairlead bracket installed on bulwark.
4.2 Nominal dimensions
The nominal dimensions of mooring chock bases are expressed with reference to mooring chocks of the same nominal dimensions (ISO 13713).
The nominal size is followed by the letters A, B or C to distinguish different safe working loads (SWL).
