1 Scope

This standard specifies the determination method of benzene series in reclaimed water-gas chromatography. This standard applies to the contents of eight benzene series such as benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, o-xylene, meta-xylene, p-xylene, styrene and cumene in reclaimed water For the measurement in the range of 0.5μg/L~100μg/L. 3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Benzene series Benzene and its derivatives. Note. 4 Principle

After the incoming components are separated by gas chromatography, they are detected with a hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID) to qualitatively use the retention time. Quantitatively calculate the content of each component based on the peak height or peak area.
