1 Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method for the determination of phthalates in soil. This standard is applicable to the determination of 6 phthalate esters in soil, and the targets include. dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate Esters, di-n-butyl phthalate, butyl benzyl phthalate, di(2-ethyl)hexyl phthalate, di-n-octyl phthalate. For the determination of other phthalates, refer to use. The detection limit of this standard method for the determination of phthalates is 0.02mg/kg~0.07mg/kg, and the lower limit of determination is 0.08mg/kg~ 0.28mg/kg (see Appendix A).

3 Principle

The phthalate ester in the soil sample is extracted by ultrasonic extraction method, and the extract is purified, concentrated, and fixed to volume by a chromatography column. 4 Reagents and materials
