1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marks, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality of titanium tubes for the aerospace propulsion system. 3 Technical requirements

3.1 Materials 3.1.1 Ingots used for the production of pipes shall be smelted at least twice. The first melting can be carried out by vacuum consumable arc furnace or cold-bed furnace.
