1 Scope

This standard specifies the origin and variety characteristics, body appearance, body weight, production performance, egg quality and determination methods of Lingkun chicken. This standard applies to Lingkun chicken varieties.

3 Origin and variety characteristics

The origin is Lingkun Town, Longwan District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a dual-use local variety with excellent meat quality and egg quality.

4 body appearance

It has the characteristics of "three yellows" (喙, 胫, feather). Crowns, meat clams, and ears are red. Some have crested and feathered feathers. The adult cock has an elliptical head, a delicate, medium-sized, single-crown, and 6 to 8 crown teeth. The iridescence is yellow. Plumage red yellow or chestnut yellow Color, lustrous, neck, wing, back color is darker, there are several black feathers between the main wing feathers, and the tail feathers are dark green. Adult hens have a single crown erect. Yellow iridescent. The plumage is yellowish or chestnut yellow, and some individuals have a little black feather on the neck, wings and tail.
