Summary: This standard specifies the TTCN version 3 core language, TTCN-3 can be used as a variety of communication ports on all type of reaction system test specification. Typical areas of application are protocol testing (including mobile and Internet protocols), service testing (including supplementary services), module testing, testing platform based on CORBA, API, etc. TTCN-3 are not limited to compliance testing, but can be used for many other types of tests, including interoperability testing, robustness testing, regression testing, system and integration testing. The physical layer protocol test suite is not required within the scope of this section. TTCN-3 is intended to be independent of the test method, and protocol layer test suite requirements. TTCN-3 defines the various presentation formats such as tabular presentation format and graphical presentation format. These provisions are not representation format within the scope of this part.
