1 Scope

This standard specifies the trivalent chromium plating solution test method and trivalent chromium coating technical requirements. Also provides a trivalent chromium plating solution in three Method for the determination of chromium and verification of hexavalent chromium. This standard applies to decorative protective nickel-nickel chromium and nickel-chromium plating with trivalent chromium plating chrome plating.
