1 Scope

This document describes the method for the determination of the anisidine value of animal and vegetable fats and oils. This document is applicable to the determination of aldehydes (mainly α, β-unsaturated aldehydes) in animal and vegetable oils and fats. This document does not apply to milk fat and milk fat products.
