This standard corresponds to IEC 60901 "single-ended fluorescent lamp performance requirements" (English Version) Version 2.4 (2007). This standard and IEC 60901.2007 is not equivalent degree of consistency. This standard is based on IEC 60901.2007 "single-ended fluorescent lamp performance requirements" redrafting. This standard replaces GB/T 17262-2002 "single capped fluorescent lamps - Performance requirements." 1 Scope

This standard specifies the single-ended fluorescent lamps for general lighting performance requirements. This standard includes the following external device using a lamp ballasts. a) within the AC mains frequencies of single-ended to start preheating cathode fluorescent lamp; b) AC power frequency and high-frequency band to start working outside the single-ended to start preheating cathode fluorescent lamp; c) AC power frequency and high-frequency non-starter to start-up work outside the single-ended cathode fluorescent lamp; d) the use of high-frequency preheating start working outside the single-ended cathode fluorescent lamp; e) high frequency preheat start working outside the single-ended cathode fluorescent lamps. For some of the requirements of this standard lamp given, see the "light of the relevant data leaflet."
