These components can be used in two-wire or four-wire twisted-pair for up to 1 000 m of the point to point connections or up to 500 m multi-point connectivity, point to point connection rates up to 2 Mbit/s, multi-point connection rates up to 1 Mbit/s. For up to 20kbit/s data signaling rate, manufacturers can optimize their device design.
