This standard replaces GB 4806.11-2016 "National Food Safety Standard for Rubber Materials and Products for Food Contact" regarding silicone rubber materials. Requirements for raw materials and finished products. National Food Safety Standards Silicone rubber materials and products for food contact 1.Scope This standard applies to silicone rubber materials and products for food contact. 2.Terms and Definitions 2.1 Silicone rubber materials and products for food contact Under the intended use conditions, polysilicon has been or may have come into contact with food or food additives, or its components may have transferred into food. Materials using organosilicon elastomers, formed by cross-linking and curing alkyl alkane polymers with hydrophobic silica and other substances, as the main raw material, and Products. 3.Basic Requirements Silicone rubber materials and products for food contact shall comply with the provisions of GB 4806.1. 4.Technical Requirements 4.1 Raw material requirements 4.1.1 The use of basic raw materials for food contact silicone rubber materials and products shall comply with the provisions of Appendix A and relevant announcements. 4.1.2 The use of additives in food contact silicone rubber materials and products shall comply with the provisions of GB 9685 and related announcements. 4.2 Sensory Requirements The sensory requirements for silicone rubber materials and products for food contact shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. The immersion solution obtained from the migration test should not exhibit any deterioration in sensory properties, such as discoloration, turbidity, precipitation, or off-odor. 4.3 Physicochemical Indicators 4.3.1 General Physicochemical Indicators The general physical and chemical properties of silicone rubber materials and products for food contact should meet the requirements of Table 2. The dosage is ≤60mg/kg. 4.3.2 Other physicochemical properties 4.3.2.1 Silicone rubber materials and products for food contact use shall comply with the specific migration limits of the base raw materials used as specified in Appendix A and relevant announcements. The regulations specify physical and chemical indicators such as SML (Specific Migration Limit), SML(T) (Specific Migration Limit), and QM (Maximum Residue Limit). 4.3.2.2 Food contact silicone rubber materials and products shall comply with GB 9685 and related announcements regarding the SML and SML of the additives used. Specifications for physical and chemical indicators such as (T) and QM. 4.4 Other technical requirements Food contact silicone rubber materials and products that use coatings, inks, and/or adhesives should also comply with the requirements of coatings, inks, and adhesives. 5 Other

5.1 Migration Test 5.1.1 General Requirements Migration tests shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of GB 31604.1 and GB 5009.156.Where there are special provisions in this standard, those provisions shall prevail. 5.1.2 Special Requirements Total migration test of silicone rubber materials and products with an expected contact temperature (T) not exceeding 40°C and a contact time (t) not exceeding 24 hours. The selection of test conditions should comply with the provisions of Table 3. Permitted basic raw materials and usage requirements for food contact silicone rubber materials and products Table A.1 specifies the basic raw materials and usage requirements permitted for use in silicone rubber materials and products for food contact.
