1 Scope

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Power lift anti-fall device climb auto system against fall A fall protection device that uses an external power source or is driven by a battery to carry personnel and equipment up or down in the predetermined direction of the guide rail. 3.2 Fixed power lifting anti-fall deviceFixed climb auto system against fall The guide rails must be permanently fixed to the surface of the structure.
