This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GA/T 170-1997 "Inspection of Sudden Death Bodies". 1 Scope

This standard specifies the contents, procedures, methods and precautions of sudden death autopsy in forensic medicine. This standard applies to forensic medical examinations of sudden death and suspected sudden death.

3 General
