Illuminometer
1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods,
inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of illuminometers.
This standard applies to illuminometers whose photometric detectors are silicon
photovoltaic cells, silicon photodiodes, selenium photovoltaic cells. An illuminometer
whose photometric detector is a photoelectric tube can also make reference to this
standard.

3 Product categories
3.1 Product type
Illuminometers are divided into pointer illuminometers and digital illuminometers,
according to their reading types.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 Indication error
The indication error shall not exceed the requirements of Table 1.
4.3 Total error of directional response
Within the range of 85°, the total error of the directional response does not exceed the
requirements in Table 3.
4.4 Infrared response error
The infrared response error shall not exceed the requirements in Table 4.
4.6 Fatigue error
The fatigue error does not exceed the requirements in Table 6.
4.7 Nonlinear error
The nonlinear error of each gear does not exceed the requirements in Table 7.
4.8 Gear shift error
The gear shifting error does not exceed the requirements in Table 8.
4.12 Instrument appearance and sensory requirements
4.13 Electrical safety performance
The instrument shall comply with the requirements of JB 5517.
5 Test methods
5.1 Indication error (Article 4.1 of this standard)
5.1.1 Test device
5.1.2 Test procedure
For the measurement of a standard illuminometer, a light intensity working reference
lamp is used. Place the light intensity working reference lamp and the photometric
probe of the standard illuminometer, on the photometric guide rail.
5.2 V (λ) matching error of optical probe filter (Article 4.2 of this standard)

6 Inspection rules
6.1 Inspection classification
Product inspection is divided into exit-factory inspection and type inspection.
6.2 Exit-factory inspection
6.2.1 The exit-factory inspection and sampling inspection shall be based on the one-
time sampling inspection of GB 2828.
6.3 Type inspection
6.3.l Type inspection is generally scheduled to be conducted once a year. Products shall
also undergo type inspection, when one of the following situations occurs.

7.2.1 The packaging of instrument materials shall comply with the requirements of ZBY
003.
7.3 Transportation
Instruments shall be transported by sheltered means of transportation.

The storage environment of the instrument shall be ventilated and free of acids, alkalis,
strong magnetic fields and other harmful substances. Packaged instruments shall be
stored in a sheltered place, free of acids, alkalis, strong magnetic fields and other
harmful substances.
